Maternity & Newborn
Time goes by so quickly! Nine months can seem like an eternity when you’re waiting to meet your sweet child, but believe it or not it will fly by and you’ll find yourself reminiscing about your days of pregnancy. Maternity sessions capture the love in your eyes and the excitement that radiates from you.
Just the bump maternity sessions
Maternity sessions are typically taken between 29 - 35 weeks so you have a nice, round belly, but you’re not so uncomfortable during the last few weeks of your pregnancy. I have several maternity gowns to choose from and the rental of one is included in your maternity session.
Lifestyle newborn sessions
Lifestyle newborn sessions are all about the connection and love that family members already have for the newest addition to their family. Special moments will be captured with the entire family, as well as each family member. There will also be time to capture photographs of the baby by alone posed in a natural way. These moments will be treasured forever.
The sessions take place in your home where your family is most comfortable and have all the items necessary to take care of your family members. We can step outside as well if you’d like if the weather permits. Don’t worry if your home is messy - you just had a baby! I will assist you in moving what needs to be moved.
This is such a special time in your family’s life. There are so many emotions during this time and you want everything to be absolutely perfect. But try to relax! We will follow your baby’s lead. If your baby is hungry, we will take time to feed. If your baby needs a diaper change, we will take time to change the diaper. Just focus on relaxing and cuddling with your little one and I will worry about the rest. Together we will create images that you will cherish forever.
studio newborn sessions
Studio newborn sessions take place in the studio and your little one is the primary focus. Upon booking, you will receive a tip sheet on what you can do to help get your baby sleepy for their session so we can (hopefully) get those sleepy, adorable newborn photos. When you arrive we will work through various poses with your newborn. We make sure to get several images with and without props. We make sure to get some family photos as well if you’d like them.
which one is right for you?
We have four Maternity & Newborn sessions to choose from - Just the Bump, Lifestyle Newborn, Studio Newborn and Birth Session. We work together to plan the entire experience from planning the session all the way to delivery of custom wall art, such as Memories pieces, vivid metals and canvas gallery wraps, as well as customized announcements or cards. Our newborn session fees start at $200. We do offer a discount of $75 for a bundling a maternity session with any of our newborn packages.
